The Mizuno CLK utility – hybrid golf clubs are a new product from Mizuno but the FLI-HI II is an extension of an already successful utility – hybrid club Mizuno has been selling for some time. Both products come in three models ranging from 17 to 23 degrees for the CLK utility – hybrid and from 18 to 24 degrees for the FLI-HI II. The CLK comes in both steel and graphite but the FLI-HI II comes only in steel.
Mizuno Fli-HI II and FLI-HI CLK Price for CLK ($149.99 steel) ($179.99 graphite) Price for FLI-HI II ($129.99 steel) ($159.95 graphite) Introduction Mizuno has recently upgraded it’s very popular FLI-HI utility – hybrid golf club line. The Mizuno FLI-HI II is the extension of its already successful FLI-HI and the CLK is their first entry into the growing utility – hybrid golf club arena of clubs designed to serve a larger base of golfers. The original FLI-Hi was a very successful product and the newer model adds to the clubs playability. It is easier to hit than the first edition. I would still reserve this club for the more accomplished golfer. On the other hand, the new Mizuno FLI-HI CLK could be used by all levels of golfers and is a welcome addition to the growing utility – hybrid golf club market. Both clubs will give you the ability to launch the ball higher with great accuracy but the CLK, I believe is the better choice for the average golfer.Features of the Mizuno FLI-HI CLK

Can I get a steel shaft?Yes, you can in both clubs. Mizuno calls it their True Temper Sensicore®. As of now, if you are left handed you can only get these clubs in steel. The available flexes are S300 (stiff) and R300 (regular) for both models. The steel shafted FLI-HI II is $20.00 less than the CLK due to the higher cost of producing the head on the CLK. To order either product in steel click on one of these links: buy clk in steel or FliHi II in steel Can I get a graphite shaft? You can get a graphite shaft in both clubs. In one case, if you buy the FLI-HI II in the 24 degree model with a stiff shaft you can get an upgraded graphite shaft called the “Exsar Blue” All the other graphite shafts are called “Exsar Black” The graphite models come in three flexes which are Senior, Regular and Stiff. Therefore, if you like Mizuno products and want a utility – hybrid club and your swing speed is not that fast you must purchase the CLK and order the Senior Flex shaft. To order either product in graphite click one of these two links: buy clk in graphite or FliHi II in graphite. What are the models of the Mizuno FLI-HI II and CLK?The FLI-HI II models come in three lofts which correspond to the model numbers. The lofts/models are 18, 21, and 24 degrees. The CLK also comes in three models corresponding to their respective lofts. The lofts/models are 17, 20, and 23 degrees. Mizuno doesn’t specify which models replace what clubs in your bag. For most golfers, I would use the 18 degree FLI-HI II and the 17 degree CLK to replace your five wood. I would use the 21 degree FLI-HI II and the 20 degree CLK to replace your three iron and lastly the 24 degree FLI-HI II and the 23 degree CLK to replace your four iron.
