The Titleist 503.H comes in two models of 19 degrees and 22 degrees. Mostly for skilled golfers and is now seen everywhere on tour. Both steel and graphite are available. Price is higher than most other utility hybrid golf clubs but competitive with other offerings that match up with this particular club. Price is $185.00 in steel and $225 in grahite.
Titleist 503.H Hybrid Irons Price (steel $185.00) (graphite $225.00) IntroductionThis club has been seen roaming around the PGA Tour since the middle of 2004 and recently became available to the public. I personally saw my first one when I was scoring for a local PGA Tour event and was walking the course with three of the tour pros when we came to a rather difficult and very long (230 yards) uphill par three. One of them pulled this club out and I must admit I went over to his bag after he hit and looked at it. It is a very nice and well designed product, but not for us normal guys. Can I get a steel shaft?Of course you can. It comes with ever popular Dynamic Gold Steel Shaft. The DG is the best selling shaft in golf but it is not designed for utility hybrid golf clubs since it is not designed to launch the ball high. (low to mid trajectory) But if you are a golf pro or a very skilled amateur golfer looking for a particular solution then it is great. It comes in shaft flexes of R300 (regular flex) and S300 (stiff flex) and can be special ordered in X300 (Extra stiff). Buy in steelCan I get a graphite shaft?Yes it comes in graphite. But, just like the steel shaft the shaft isnt designed for most people who need a utility hybrid golf club. It is really good Aldila NV Hybrid Graphite shaft. This shaft has a dense laminate construction for better feel and a very stable tip that allows for outstanding control. It does have a slightly higher launch than the Dynamic Gold shaft but still launches at a mid trajectory. Buy in graphiteFeatures of the Titleist 503.H utility hybrid golf clubsThe club has a hollow cast design with a internal composite structure that outwardly looks much more like an iron with a fat back on it. On the back you will notice a molded, carbon fiber composite core that is designed to dampen vibration and also provides strength and support for the thin face design. It has a traditional iron face profile. On the bottom of the Titleist 503.H Hybrid Iron you will notice a screw. This tungsten sole screw positions the center of gravity lower than normal irons and provides better ball launch and trajectory while at the same time more control versus a high loft fairway and more playable versus a long iron.Models of the Titleist 503.H Hybrid IronsThe club comes in two models.
